1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Linkova, including our website, mobile application, matching features, messaging, video or voice features where available, profiles, Linkcoins, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not create an account or use the Platform.2. Eligibility and age requirement
The Platform is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. You must not create, maintain, or use an account if you are under 18. You represent that the information you provide about your age and identity is accurate. We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe an age requirement has been breached. Do not use the Platform to arrange or facilitate sexual activity involving minors, exploitation, trafficking, or any other unlawful conduct.3. Accounts and account security
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials and devices reasonably secure. You must not impersonate another person, create an account using another person's identity, or maintain an account for someone else without our authorization. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where the activity results from a security incident that is attributable to our failure to apply reasonable security measures.4. What the Platform does
Linkova is a social and dating platform designed to help adults discover, match, and communicate with other users. We provide tools that may include profile discovery, matching, text messaging, video calling, blocking, reporting, notifications, and other communication features. Feature availability may vary by location, device, account status, or product version. A match, conversation, profile, or communication does not mean that we have verified the identity, intentions, background, age, employment, relationship status, or suitability of another user.5. User conduct and safety
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully. You must not:- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, blackmail, exploit, or abuse another person;
- use the Platform for fraud, scams, impersonation, deception, or financial exploitation;
- solicit or facilitate prostitution, trafficking, sexual exploitation, or other unlawful sexual activity;
- share another person's private information without authorization;
- upload content that unlawfully infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the Platform, or abuse our systems;
- use automated systems to scrape, collect, copy, or harvest user data without permission;
- use the Platform to promote unlawful goods or services; or
- attempt to evade a block, suspension, restriction, or other safety measure.
6. Profiles, photos, messages, and other content
You retain rights you already have in content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant Linkova a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and transmit that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Platform. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that your content does not violate these Terms or applicable law. We may remove, restrict, or disable content or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, respond to reports, or protect the Platform.7. Reporting, blocking, and moderation
We may provide reporting and blocking tools. Reports may be reviewed to protect users and the Platform. Depending on the circumstances, we may warn, restrict, suspend, remove content from, or terminate an account. We do not promise that every report will result in action or that every harmful interaction can be prevented. Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable judgment and personal safety. If you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service in your location rather than relying on the Platform.8. No identity or background verification guarantee
Unless a feature is expressly identified as verified, we do not guarantee that a profile represents the real identity of the person operating it. We do not guarantee that any user is honest, safe, compatible, available, single, employed, financially responsible, or suitable for you. You are responsible for deciding whether, when, and how to meet another user offline. Consider meeting in public places, telling someone you trust where you are going, arranging your own transportation, and avoiding sharing sensitive personal information prematurely.9. Linkcoins and paid features
Linkcoins are in-platform credits used for eligible Platform features. They are not cash, electronic money, a bank deposit, or a general-purpose payment instrument, and they do not create a right to withdraw or redeem their unused balance for cash unless we expressly state otherwise. Package quantities, prices, currency, and eligible uses are shown at the point of purchase and may change prospectively. We do not rely on prices or Linkcoin quantities supplied by a user's browser as the authoritative transaction amount. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Paystack. We do not ask you to provide your full card credentials to us through ordinary Platform messages. Payment processing is subject to the payment provider's terms and applicable payment-network rules.10. Refunds, reversals, and payment disputes
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, did not receive purchased value, or experienced a duplicate or unauthorized charge, contact linkova.notify@gmail.com promptly with the transaction reference and relevant details. Where a refund is appropriate, we may process it through the original payment method or payment provider, subject to applicable law, payment-provider rules, transaction status, and our refund policy. If a payment is reversed, charged back, or determined to have been fraudulent after Linkcoins were credited, we may reverse the corresponding unspent or credited value and take reasonable account action to prevent abuse. We will not use this section to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.11. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including matching, messaging, video, or paid features. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these Terms when necessary. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means where required. Your continued use after an effective change means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, created a safety or security risk, engaged in fraud or abuse, or where termination is required by law or necessary to protect the Platform or other users. Termination does not automatically erase information that we are legally required or reasonably permitted to retain, including transaction, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records.13. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its software, design, branding, logos, interface elements, and original content supplied by us, is owned by or licensed to Linkova and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by us, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit our protected materials.14. Third-party services
The Platform may integrate with third-party services, including payment, hosting, analytics, authentication, communications, or infrastructure providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by applicable law.15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, secure, uninterrupted, or free from errors, or that interactions with other users will produce a particular result. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a consumer right, liability, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linkova will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the Platform, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for matters that applicable law does not permit us to limit.17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless mandatory law applicable to you requires otherwise. We encourage users to contact us first so we can try to resolve complaints promptly. Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights available to you under applicable consumer-protection, data-protection, or other mandatory law.18. Contact
